Adaptive Sailing

Sandusky Sailing Center delivers a high quality, 

inclusive and adaptive sailing 

experience that enriches the lives of the people in our community.  

Participants in our Adaptive Sailing program will develop 

enough skills and confidence 

that they may choose to participate in races or cruising events

 held on Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay. 

Our Adaptive Sailing program runs from the beginning of June through August.  We currently run all 1.5 hour sessions by appointment only.  Every session can accommodate 5 program participants and 1 responsible caregiver (parent, guardian or agency representative).  Participants must be accompanied on the water by their caregiver.  For the safety of all participants, no participant can be left on shore without a caregiver with them.  At this time we do not offer drop in Adaptive programs.  Contact us at 419-871-8080 if you would like more information or to schedule your group for Adaptive Sailing.
